Carmine Tullio, President & CEO

Carmine Tullio founded Univeris, previously named CTA Systemsource in 1994, starting with a mutual fund dealer system. Since that time, Carmine has built Univeris into the leader in enterprise wealth management in Canada through its industry-leading EWMS wealth platform. Carmine's strong commitment to both corporate integrity and delivering real value to clients led to the development of the unique Univeris business and technology model. These guiding principles have helped forge Univeris' reputation for technology excellence, product reliability and a strong focus on client service. He holds a BA in Economics from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University.

Saurabh Thakar, Chief Operating Officer

Saurabh joined Univeris in 1999 and since then has developed considerable knowledge and expertise on the Univeris EWMS wealth platform and the overall investment industry. During his tenure at Univeris, Saurabh has managed many critical areas of product delivery including Product Support, Release Management, Quality Assurance and Business Analyst teams. He has ensured a strong focus on delivering high quality products and exceeding customer expectations. His current role as the Chief Operating Officer has him focused on many facets of Univeris’ business operations, specifically to ensure that they are conducted in the most efficient and effective manner, and that the right resources are in the right places for the Univeris clients. Saurabh holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.

Richard Binnendyk, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Wealth Management Solutions

Richard Binnendyk, who joined Univeris in 1994, is responsible for all aspects of the EWMS wealth platform product direction and strategy. With more than fifteen years of experience, Richard has developed both macro and micro expertise in client wealth platform implementations. His experience is invaluable at understanding the complexities of the financial services industry, especially system conversions, implementations and customization methodologies. Within the Canadian financial industry, Richard acts as a very effective resource for defining and resolving systems issues. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Electronic Standards Group (ESG/fundSERV) committee. Due to his extensive industry knowledge, Richard is also a regular presenter at industry events and Univeris client conferences. Richard holds a BES from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Queens University.

Dima Stelmakh, Vice President, Architecture

Dima Stelmakh joined the Univeris development team in 1997, and with his ten years of experience with the EWMS wealth platform, he is responsible for overall platform architecture, technical direction and product implementation. Dima manages the System Architecture, Development and QA teams at Univeris. In 2001, Dima spearheaded the move of the EWMS wealth platform to a web-based architecture. He has also initiated formal system benchmarking and has focused efforts to successfully increase platform performance, scalability and reliability. Dima holds a M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Kiev National Technical University.
