2007

Univeris launches the EWMS Insurance Administration System - the industry's most advanced and feature-rich individual life and health insurance administration solution.

2006

The EWMS platform migrates to its G3 architecture using a Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) bringing a new level of flexibility, security and usability to the application.

Portfolio Model Rebalancing functionality is added to the EWMS platform allowing real-time rebalancing of client portfolios based on asset allocation models.

The EWMS platform celebrates 10 years of its deployment as an enterprise-level wealth management platform in Canada

2005

Univeris EWMS emerges as the market leader in enterprise wealth market in Canada with over 50% market share of Canadian MFDA firms with assets > than $ 1 billion CDN and over 70% market share of the wealth management divisions of Canadian Insurance companies.

2004

CTA Systemsource changes its name to Univeris Corporation and MPS is renamed to EWMS (for Enterprise Wealth Management System)

2003

The Advisor Dashboard interface is launched giving advisors real-time access to client portfolios plus Book of Business management and client segmentation functionality

2002

The MPS platform begins to employ an Open XML API making it easier for it to integrate with other enterprise-level applications

2001

MPS migrates over to its "G2" architecture marking an evolution in technology from a GUI UI to Browser-based UI

2000

Univeris hits a financial services industry milestone with over 10,000 Canadian Advisors on its platform

1999

MPS expands the plans that it supports with the addition of self-directed RESP functionality

MPS migrates its database over to Microsoft SQL (Structured Query Language) Server 7.0

MPS continues to grow in functionality by becoming the first mutual fund distribution system to have its own built-in compliance

MPS expands the number of plans it supports through the addition of Self Directed RRSP & Registered Retired Income Funds (RRIF) Nominee Plan Administration

Investor internet access via web browser is added to MPS

1998

Internet access via web browser is added to MPS making it a first for mutual fund distribution in Canada

GIC processing is added to the MPS system as part of a strategy of adding more wealth products. This marks another first.

1997

MPS becomes the first end-to-end manufacturing and distribution system available for mutual fund processing

1996

MPS, or Money Products Systems, the first real-time distribution processing system for mutual funds is launched in Canada

1994

CTA Systemsource begins development on its own proprietary mutual fund distribution system for the Canadian marketplace

1991

CTA Systemsource is incorporated & becomes a custom developer of capital asset distribution systems
