Getting to Toronto
By Air
40 airlines connect Toronto’s two airports – Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Toronto City Centre Airport (YTZ) – to the rest of the world. Pearson Airport is located 27 kms (16 miles) from downtown and is accessible by public transit. The City Centre Airport is located on the Toronto Island and links to the city by shuttle.
By Rail
VIA Rail bring visitors into the heart of the city each day. Toronto’s Union Station is located centrally downtown and connects to the underground subway.
By Road
Several highways, including 2, 401, 407 and the Queen Elizabeth Way, link surrounding cities to Toronto. Nearest Canada-U.S. border crossings are at Niagara Falls, Fort Erie and Windsor.
