Earlier this month, the Univeris Team took in some fresh mountain air at the Gaylord Rockies for BNY INSITE 2026. INSITE is an awesome annual conference bringing together wealth management executives, RIA founders, wealthtech SaaS providers, and many other vendors in the Pershing ecosystem. The four-day conference, which took place June 1-4, 2026 in Aurora, Colorado, brought together nearly 2,000 industry professionals to engage, learn and connect with topics impacting the wealth management sector.
Univeris was a returning sponsor for this amazing event. We spent four days connecting with attendees and industry professionals in our booth, during networking receptions, and while attending educational sessions. And based on all of these engagements, we identified three key takeaways from INSITE 2026:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) was [unsurprisingly] all the rage
Based on recent conversations with clients and prospects, the state of corporate transformation, and the overwhelming societal thread that AI has become in our daily lives, we knew AI was going to be a major part of the discourse at INSITE. And we were prepared. Every single booth demonstration and discussion we provided involved questions regarding our AI capabilities and roadmap. How will agents improve operational efficiency for advisors? How will it improve reporting and compliance? How can I incorporate these agents and functions into my existing infrastructure? These were examples of some of the questions we fielded and discussed during the conference.
- The growing LATAM presence was very encouraging
As a company with LATAM and North American operations, Univeris puts great value on conferences that can bring industry professionals from both regions together. BNY does a great job bringing LATAM wealth management professionals to the conference. As a sponsor of the LATAM Welcome event, Univeris had the chance to attend a private reception for these professionals and gauge their level of interest and appetite for wealthtech solutions and it was awesome seeing the level of attendance and participation grow.
- Infrastructure flexibility and interoperability are hot button issues
If AI was the central focus for future technology investment, then API infrastructure was the common thread concerning many operators, currently. A tale as old as time, but modern advisors and wealth managers do not want to toggle between multiple, isolated software applications. They are seeking APIs that can unify existing legacy systems and create more seamless workflows. Data gathered from BNY during the conference validated this as a primary concern for enterprise buyers as legacy integration constraints received the highest percentage (52%) of survey replies, beating out compliance and onboarding, respectively.
BNY INSITE made one thing perfectly clear: the primary concern for most advisors and wealth management professionals is how to make their tech stacks work better, faster, and more intelligently to create better customer experiences and competitive advantages. The “tech stack” is no longer secondary to an RIA’s or wealth manager’s identity.
